Qualifications for Fire Alarm Installer
- 1-3 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Installer
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding NFPA 72 requirements
- Experience with fire alarm circuit types and basic programming
Responsibilities for Fire Alarm Installer
- Install fire alarm control panels and devices with precision
- Pull and terminate fire alarm cables and mount notification appliances
- Assist with system programming, testing, and maintaining detailed documentation
- Coordinate with other trades for optimal device placement and perform pre-wire and trim-out phases
- Troubleshoot wiring issues and ensure proper color coding and labeling
