Job Description:

Prime Partners, a leading electrical company, is currently seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a deeply experienced professional comfortable working with a variety of electrical systems and committed to providing excellent service to our clients. This is a full-time position based in Burbank, CA, but will also include services in surrounding cities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
2. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, to ensure compliance with codes.
3. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
4. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
5. Collaborate with contractors and other trades, interpreting and applying plans, specifications, blueprints, and sketches.
6. Troubleshoot faults in electrical systems and complex electrical devices.
7. Train and mentor apprentice electricians.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Must possess a valid Journeyman Electrician License.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
3. Proficient understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
4. Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
5. Demonstrated ability to use electrical and hand tools.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
8. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
9. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
10. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in diverse environments.
11. Must pass a background check and drug screening.
