Qualifications for Cable Technician

• Experience Required: Minimum of 2+ years as a Cable Technician.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in structured cabling installations, cable testing, termination, and certification procedures.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to read and follow blueprints and schematics on active construction sites.

Responsibilities for Cable Technician

• Installation: Install CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optic cables in commercial settings.
• Termination and Testing: Perform cable terminations on patch panels, jacks, and network devices; conduct thorough cable testing and certification.
• Pathway Installation: Set up cable pathways such as conduits and raceways according to safety standards and blueprints.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and clients to ensure timely project completion and adherence to quality standards.
