Apprentice Electrician at Prime Partners

Location: Anaheim, CA (Serving nearby cities: Fullerton, Garden Grove, Orange, Buena Park, and Yorba Linda)

Pay: $24.00 - $37.00 per hour (If you are a Journeyman who let their card expire, you must have a valid ET card to be considered and we can increase your pay to match the Journeyman rate.)

Prime Partners is seeking a motivated Commercial Apprentice Electrician to join our dynamic team in Anaheim, CA. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial projects, gaining hands-on experience while learning from seasoned professionals. From office buildings and retail centers to schools and industrial facilities, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our projects are completed safely and efficiently.

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about building a career in the electrical trade and who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Our projects span Anaheim and neighboring areas, offering exposure to a diverse range of commercial installations and maintenance tasks.

Primary Responsibilities at Prime Partners

• Install and secure conduit systems, including EMT, RMC, and PVC for power distribution.
• Assist with mounting electrical devices such as switches, outlets, and light fixtures.
• Wire and connect electrical panels and sub-panels under the guidance of a journeyman or foreman.
• Perform preliminary testing on circuits and troubleshoot issues in wiring and connections.
• Set up and install commercial-grade lighting systems, including motion sensors and dimming systems.
• Support the team with data cabling and low-voltage wiring for communication systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to meet project deadlines.

Required Qualifications at Prime Partners

• Valid ET (Electrical Trainee) card issued by the State of California.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions and learn on the job.
• Reliable transportation to project sites in Anaheim and surrounding cities such as Fullerton, Garden Grove, and Buena Park.
• Physically capable of working on ladders, scaffolds, and in confined spaces.

Tools & Equipment Experience at Prime Partners

• Basic electrical tools: wire strippers, pliers, and voltage testers.
• Power tools: drills, saws, and grinders.
• Experience with conduit benders (manual and hydraulic).
• Use of ladders and aerial lifts.
• Familiarity with safety gear, including gloves, hard hats, and safety glasses.

• Experience with solar panel installation or energy-efficient systems.
• Knowledge of backup power systems, such as generators and battery storage.
• Familiarity with fire alarm wiring and testing procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and electrical diagrams.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Some overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
