Job Description: Prime Partners is seeking an experienced Security Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience in installing security systems in commercial properties. The successful candidate will primarily work on new construction projects for office buildings, hospitals, big box retail stores, and other commercial properties in and around Anaheim, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair security systems, including but not limited to alarm systems, surveillance cameras, and access control systems.
• Evaluate and diagnose issues with existing security systems and recommend solutions.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all security systems are functioning properly.
• Coordinate with construction and project management teams to ensure the smooth installation of security systems in new constructions.
• Provide onsite troubleshooting and technical support to clients.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Provide training and support to clients on the usage of installed security systems.
• Stay updated with advancements in the field of commercial security systems.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Security Technician.
• Certified Alarm Technician Level 1 from Electronic Security Association (ESA) or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of various security systems and brands, including Honeywell, Bosch, and Hikvision.
• Familiarity with the installation of security systems in commercial properties is a must.
• Understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, and wiring.
• Must be proficient with hand and power tools required for installations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Safety Requirements:

• Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
• Experience in following safety protocols during installations.
• Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary.
