Prime Partners Inc. is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. Operating in San Diego, CA, and servicing in surrounding cities such as Chula Vista, El Cajon, La Mesa, National City, and Coronado, Prime Partners is a leading company in the electrical industry. Key Responsibilities:

1. Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within commercial and residential settings.
2. Inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the necessity for adjustment or repair.
3. Planning layouts and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
4. Directing and training workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
5. Diagnosing malfunctioning systems and components, using test equipment to locate the cause of a breakdown.
6. Complying with all safety and health regulations and maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
7. Preparing sketches or following blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
8. Assisting in the management of all on-site operations including but not limited to site personnel, subcontractors, materials, and logistics.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Must possess a valid California State Journeyman Electrician License.
2. Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
3. Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local codes.
4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material.
5. Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools.
6. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and crawling in tight spaces.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work independently as well as in team settings.
9. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with clients, team members, and management in a professional and positive manner.
10. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
