Job Description: Prime Partners is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the electrical industry and demonstrate an ability to work independently. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installation, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment within the commercial, industrial, and residential electrical industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Install and maintain electrical systems in accordance with National Electrical Code and local electrical codes.
2. Diagnose causes of electrical malfunctions and provide corrective action suggestions.
3. Inspect and test electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
4. Respond to emergencies and repair electrical problems.
5. Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
6. Train and mentor apprentice electricians.
7. Work with project managers to plan and direct the installation of electrical equipment.
8. Ensure all installations are accurate, serviceable, and meet code parameters.
9. Safely operate tools, vehicles, and industrial equipment.

Qualifications:

1. Must possess a Journeyman Electrician License.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical industry.
3. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local codes.
4. Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose electrical malfunctions.
5. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
6. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Excellent communication and mentorship skills.
8. Ability to travel to surrounding cities including but not limited to Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, and Scottsdale.

Requirements:

1. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
2. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
3. Must be able to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
4. Must be able to climb ladders, operate lift equipment, and work at heights.
5. Must be available for emergency calls and overtime as needed.
6. Must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions.
