Job Description:

Prime Partners is seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Glendale, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. This includes conduits, cables, wires, circuits, panels, and other electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
3. Perform general electrical maintenance.
4. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
5. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
6. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
7. Follow the National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
8. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections.
9. Provide professional customer service and communicate effectively with team members, clients, and management.
10. Train and mentor apprentice electricians.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
2. A valid state journeyman electrician’s license is required.
3. Demonstrable knowledge of electrical systems, tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
4. Capable of reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
5. Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment.
6. Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work.
7. Ability to meet physical requirements, such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
8. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
9. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Requirements:

1. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
2. Availability to work overtime, weekends, and occasional evenings as needed.
3. Ability to work in various weather and environmental conditions.
4. Must be able to work in the Glendale, CA area and its surrounding cities, including Burbank, Pasadena, Los Angeles, and La Cañada Flintridge.
