Apprentice Electrician at Prime Partners

We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as an Apprentice Electrician. This position will offer the suitable candidate a chance to learn and grow under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will work closely with the team to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with state and local electrical codes.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the installation, maintenance, repair, and removal of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and light fixtures.

• Reading and interpreting technical diagrams and blueprints.

• Using testing devices to identify electrical problems and troubleshoot equipment.

• Ensuring all work performed adheres to state and local electrical codes.

• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

• Following all safety rules and regulations, including wearing appropriate safety equipment.

• Working closely with a journeyman or master electrician to learn all aspects of the electrical trade.

• Completing all required classroom and on-the-job training.

• Communicating effectively with team members and clients.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Enrollment in or completion of an electrician apprenticeship program.

• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.

• Ability to use hand and power tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in inclement weather conditions.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Must have a valid electrician trainee card issued by the state of California.

• Must be willing to work long hours and on weekends when necessary.

• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

• Must complete an educational course every year while in the apprenticeship program.
