Job Description:

Prime Partners, a leading electrical service provider in Fremont, CA, is currently seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Journeyman Electrician. This position will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial areas throughout Fremont and its surrounding cities, including Newark, Union City, Milpitas, Hayward, and Pleasanton.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.
3. Perform regular preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
4. Read blueprints or technical diagrams before performing work.
5. Install and maintain wiring and control equipment.
6. Cooperate with architects and engineers to ensure that all electrical installations are done according to code and project specifications.
7. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
8. Provide professional customer service and interaction.
9. Prepare and present detailed reports on the status of each assigned project.

Qualifications:

1. Valid CA Journeyman Electrician license.
2. At least 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
3. Proficient knowledge of electrical systems, tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
4. Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
5. Advanced troubleshooting skills.
6. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
7. Diploma from a technical school or completion of an apprenticeship is mandatory.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
9. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move medium to heavy objects.
10. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Requirements:

1. Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
2. Must have a clean driving record.
3. Must be able to travel to surrounding cities, including Newark, Union City, Milpitas, Hayward, and Pleasanton.
