Job Overview: Prime Partners is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to perform a wide range of electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems. This position requires extensive knowledge of electrical codes and is responsible for the safety, quality, and compliance of all electrical installations and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Perform general electrical maintenance tasks.
3. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
4. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
5. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
6. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
7. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections.
8. Provide professional customer service and communication to clients.
9. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule.
10. Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
2. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
3. Valid license to practice the profession.
4. Solid knowledge of electrical systems, including industrial, commercial, and residential.
5. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools, electrical drawings, and blueprints.
6. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations, and guidelines.
7. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
8. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
9. Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
10. Strong communication and customer service skills.

Requirements:

1. Current state Journeyman Electrician License.
2. A minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
3. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
4. Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.
5. Must be able to work independently and complete tasks to a high standard within set timeframes.
6. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
