Apprentice Electrician at Prime Partners

We are looking for a highly motivated and diligent Apprentice Electrician to join our team in Cupertino, CA. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Journeyman Electrician, learning the trade while assisting in a variety of electrical tasks. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures. A strong interest in pursuing a career in the electrical industry is required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting the Journeyman Electrician in installing and maintaining electrical systems.

2. Reading and interpreting electrical and architectural blueprints.

3. Using a range of tools and electrical equipment accurately.

4. Conducting electrical preventive maintenance programs.

5. Identifying electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.

6. Following state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code.

7. Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.

8. Guiding and coordinating work with other team members.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school is preferred.

3. Valid California Electrician Trainee card.

4. Proven experience as an electrical apprentice is a plus.

5. Strong understanding of electrical techniques, principles, tools, and safety procedures.

6. Proficiency in using electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.

7. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations, and guidelines.

Requirements:

1. Physically fit, capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment.

2. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.

3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

4. Willingness to learn and improve skills continuously.

5. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a reliable means of transportation.

6. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and occasional holidays if required.

7. Must comply with all safety standards and processes.
