Fire Alarm Installer at Prime Partners

Job Description:

Prime Partners, based in Mesa, AZ, is seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Installer to join our growing team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for installing fire alarm systems in new construction projects such as office buildings, hospitals, big box retail stores, and other commercial properties in Mesa and surrounding cities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install fire alarm systems on commercial properties, ensuring all installations meet the necessary safety standards and regulations.
2. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on fire alarm systems, identifying and resolving any issues.
3. Work closely with other teams and project managers to ensure installations are completed on schedule.
4. Provide technical advice and support to clients, helping them understand the operation of their fire alarm systems.
5. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Installer or in a similar role.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. Certification in Fire Alarm Installation and Maintenance is required.
4. Excellent knowledge of national and local fire safety regulations.
5. Proven ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
8. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Specific Tools and Equipment Knowledge:

1. Experience with a variety of fire alarm systems, including but not limited to Notifier, Simplex, Siemens, and Edwards.
2. Proficiency with hand and power tools used for installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
3. Knowledge of electrical wiring, conduit benders, voltage meters, and other electrical installation equipment.

Safety Requirements and Protocols:

1. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
2. Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
3. Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures is a plus.
