Job Description:

Prime Partners, a leading provider of commercial electrical services, is seeking skilled Apprentice and Journeyman Electricians to join our team in San Francisco, CA and surrounding cities. This position focuses on electrical work for new construction projects, specifically office buildings and hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to ensure a proper electrical installation.
2. Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in compliance with current electrical codes and standards.
3. Testing electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
4. Inspecting circuits and circuit breakers to identify faults or issues and repairing or replacing as necessary.
5. Collaborating closely with project managers and other members of the construction team to ensure project deadlines are met.
6. Complying with all safety policies and procedures and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Required Qualifications:

1. Must hold a valid Electrician’s Apprentice License or Journeyman Electrician License.
2. Minimum of 2 years experience for Apprentices and 5 years for Journeymen in commercial or industrial electrical installation.
3. Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Specific Tools and Equipment Knowledge:

1. Must be proficient in the use of electrical diagnostic devices, hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
2. Familiarity with generators, transformers, circuit breakers, and electric wiring systems.
3. Knowledge of safety equipment and use, such as safety harnesses, hard hats, and goggles.

Safety Requirements:

1. Adherence to all company and site safety policies and procedures.
2. Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
3. Regular attendance at safety meetings and trainings.
