Job Title: Commercial Journeyman Electrician

Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable, and highly-skilled Commercial Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial settings, such as office buildings, retail stores, restaurants, and other businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
3. Perform general electrical maintenance.
4. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
5. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
6. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
7. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
8. Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
9. Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
10. Good knowledge of various test equipment.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Commercial Journeyman Electrician.
2. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
3. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
4. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
5. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
2. Valid license to practice the profession.
3. Proven experience in commercial electrical systems.
4. Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints, and maintenance and repair procedures.
5. Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment.
6. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
7. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations, and guidelines.
8. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
9. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
10. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.

The Commercial Journeyman Electrician will have a strong understanding of the electrical industry and be able to troubleshoot a variety of issues relating to electrical systems in commercial settings. A valid state license and proven experience in the field are essential. The successful candidate should have a good understanding of safety procedures, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
