Job Description:

Prime Partners, a leading commercial electrical contractor in Chandler, AZ, is seeking a skilled Commercial Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 4 years of electrical experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in new construction office buildings, hospitals, big box retail stores, and other commercial properties.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Perform general electrical maintenance.
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Service electrical systems for commercial settings including office buildings, hospitals, big box retail stores, and more.
• Work within the Chandler and surrounding cities service area.
• Comply with all safety procedures and requirements, including wearing personal protective equipment and ensuring all installations are safe and up to code.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electrician license.
• Minimum of 4 years of commercial electrical experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems, tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and follow technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team setting.

Tools and Equipment Knowledge:

• Knowledge of how to safely use hand and power tools commonly used in the electrical trade.
• Familiarity with electrical equipment, including testers, pliers, screwdrivers, drills, saws, and other tools.
• Ability to use electrical design software and other computer systems.

Safety Requirements:

• Adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes.
• Ability to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment and ensure all installations are safe and up to code.
