Job Description:

Prime Partners is seeking a qualified Commercial Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 4 years of commercial electrical experience. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in installing electrical systems in large-scale commercial properties such as new construction office buildings, hospitals, and big box retail stores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial settings
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and specifications to determine the layout of the system
• Ensure compliance with all electrical codes pertaining to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

• Valid California Journeyman Electrician license
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial electrical work
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license

Service Area: This position services Glendale, CA and surrounding cities.

Tools and Equipment Knowledge:

• A thorough understanding of electrical systems and the ability to use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment

Safety Requirements and Protocols:

• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures as well OSHA regulations
• Knowledge of first aid and relevant safety measures
• Wear protective equipment while on the job
