Requirements for Security Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems in healthcare facilities.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely project completion.
• Conduct system tests and inspections to ensure optimal operation.

Low Voltage Cabling Installation

• Install and terminate low voltage cabling for security systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of installed cabling.

Tool Proficiency

• Proficient use of hand and power tools for installation and repair tasks.
• Familiarity with testing and diagnostic tools for system troubleshooting.

Daily Tasks

• Conduct system checks and routine maintenance.
• Address and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members.

Project Involvement

• Participate in project planning and coordination meetings.
• Assist in the design and implementation of security solutions.
• Ensure project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications for Security Technician at MMR Group

• 2-4 years of experience in security system installation and maintenance.
• Required certification: ASIS PSP Certification.
• Experience with Video Surveillance Equipment and Network Security Tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various physical environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certification: Security+ Certification.
• Experience with Access Control Systems.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Santa Rosa, CA.
• Additional locations: Rohnert Park, Petaluma, Windsor, and Healdsburg, CA.
• Schedule: Full-time, with potential for overtime and weekend shifts as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $30.93-$37.65 per hour.
