Journeyman Electrician at Prime Partners

Job Title: Journeyman Electrician Company: Prime Partners Location: Santa Rosa, CA (Including surrounding cities such as Rohnert Park, Windsor, Sebastopol, and Petaluma)

Job Description:

Prime Partners is seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. They should be able to ensure that all work is in accordance with relevant codes and promote a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
3. Perform general electrical maintenance.
4. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
5. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
6. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
7. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
8. Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
9. Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
10. Good knowledge of various test equipment.

Qualifications:

1. Completion of an electrician apprenticeship.
2. At least 4 years of experience working as a journeyman electrician.
3. Valid California state journeyman electrician license.
4. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
5. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid driver’s license.
3. Ability to lift heavy objects and stand or kneel for long periods of time.
4. Excellent communication skills and attention to details.
5. Ability to work under different weather conditions.
6. Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekend as required.
