• Strong understanding of basic networking protocols
• Competency with cable termination tools
• Effective customer service skills

Responsibilities for Security Technician

• Install and configure IP cameras, access control systems, and motion sensors
• Pull, terminate, and label low-voltage cables, ensuring neat routing through conduits
• Mount and align security cameras, adjusting for optimal field-of-view
• Secure installation of control panels, keypads, and card readers
• Conduct on-site functional testing of systems, checking power and connectivity
• Collaborate with contractors to align installations with site specifications
• Maintain organized and clean job sites
