Black Box Voice & Data is seeking a skilled and experienced Security Alarm Installer to join our Miami, FL team. The successful candidate will lead a team of 4-6 technicians in installing and maintaining security systems across a variety of government settings, including federal agencies, state offices, and military facilities within a 100-mile radius. This position offers flexible hours and requires a safety-focused individual ready to contribute to secure and high-stakes environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of technicians to install, maintain, and troubleshoot security alarm systems.
• Work collaboratively within federal, state, and military environments ensuring compliance with security protocols.
• Install and configure Access Control Systems, IP Camera Systems, Intrusion Detection systems, and CCTV.
• Ensure all installations meet ESA Level 2 and Security+ standards.
• Conduct regular safety training and inspections to adhere to the company’s safety guidelines.
• Manage on-site project timelines and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Travel to client sites within a 100-mile radius of Miami for installation and service appointments.

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in security alarm installation or similar field.
• ESA Level 2 and Security+ certifications.
• Proficiency in installing and configuring Access Control, IP Cameras, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within a 100-mile radius.

Preferred Qualifications

• NICET Level II certification.
• ASIS PSP certification.
• Experience working in government or military environments.
• Familiarity with regional security concerns specific to South Florida.
