Security Systems Tech at Mirapath

Mirapath is seeking a skilled Security Systems Technician to join our team in Marina del Rey, CA. This role is focused on implementing and maintaining security systems for educational institutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in security system installation and management.

Position Overview

The Security Systems Technician will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of security systems at educational institutions. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Essential Functions

• Install and configure security systems, including cameras, access control, and alarm systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of security equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Conduct site assessments to determine security needs and recommend solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and staff.

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
• Required certification: Axis Certification.
• Familiarity with Lenel OnGuard and Genetec Security Center.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and work in various physical environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certification: BICSI Technician.
• Extensive experience with Lenel OnGuard systems.
• Specialized experience in educational institution security projects.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in security system installations.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Marina del Rey, CA.
• Schedule: Full-time, with occasional travel to project sites as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $30.58-$35.98 per hour.
