Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in Marina del Rey, CA. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire alarm systems within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for maintaining high safety standards.
Essential Functions
- Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in healthcare facilities.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarm systems promptly.
- Collaborate with project managers and healthcare facility staff to coordinate project timelines and requirements.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs.
- Provide training and support to facility staff on fire alarm systems and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in fire alarm systems installation and maintenance.
- Required certification: NICET Level II Fire Alarm Systems.
- Demonstrated experience with Notifier Systems and Fire-Lite Systems.
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certification: OSHA 10.
- Experience with Silent Knight Systems.
- Specialized experience in healthcare facility projects.
- Proficiency with tools and software related to fire alarm systems.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Marina del Rey, CA.
- Schedule: Full-time position with potential for overtime based on project needs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $27.43-$32.9 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
