Key Responsibilities

• Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
• Commission automated production lines and perform root cause analysis on system failures.
• Implement predictive maintenance programs using vibration analysis and thermal imaging.
• Design and install complex motor control circuits.
• Manage electrical spare parts inventory and train apprentices on industrial systems.
• Coordinate with equipment manufacturers for complex repairs.
• Develop standard operating procedures for maintenance tasks.
• Perform power quality analysis and harmonic mitigation.
• Conduct energy audits in line with Massachusetts energy efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Boston’s local electrical codes and standards.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced certification in Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC programming.
• Demonstrated experience with industrial networking protocols (EtherNet/IP, Profibus).
• Expertise in VFD programming and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with thermal imaging and vibration analysis equipment.
• Ability to read and create AutoCAD electrical drawings.
• Experience with SCADA systems and HMI programming.
• Proven leadership skills in a maintenance environment.
• Understanding of IEEE standards for industrial power quality.
• 5+ years of experience required for Journeyman work in an industrial setting.
• Familiarity with Massachusetts electrical licensing and certification processes.
• Strong understanding of Boston’s regulatory environment for manufacturing.
