Residential Electrician at Prime Partners
Prime Partners is seeking a dedicated and skilled Residential Apprentice Electrician for our Boston, MA location. This role is perfectly suited for individuals who have a solid grounding in electrical theory, are proficient in residential wiring methods, and have the ability to carry out load calculations and panel installations with accuracy. The successful candidate will have experience working with hand and power tools, digital multimeters, and basic test equipment. An Electrical Apprentice License/Trainee Card, OSHA-10, First Aid/CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license are mandatory for this role. Experience in residential rough-in, service upgrades, fixture/device installation, and basic troubleshooting will be an added advantage. The successful candidate must be enrolled in or eligible for a state-approved apprenticeship program.
Location
This position is based in Boston, MA, with potential work in surrounding neighboring cities including Cambridge, Quincy, Somerville, and Newton.

Required Experience & Certifications
- 1-5 years of experience as a Residential Electrician
- Knowledge of basic electrical theory
- Proficiency in residential wiring methods (NM cable/Romex)
- Experience calculating loads and installing panels
- Proficiency with hand tools (Klein, Knipex), power tools (Milwaukee, DeWalt), digital multimeters (Fluke), and basic test equipment
- Valid Electrical Apprentice License/Trainee Card
- OSHA-10 certification
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license
Nice To Have
- Experience with residential rough-in
- Experience with service upgrades
- Experience with fixture/device installation
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Enrolled in or eligible for a state-approved apprenticeship program
Salary & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $21.7-$29.74 per hour, commensurate with experience. Benefits will be discussed during the interview process.
