Overview of the Healthcare Commercial Project Manager Role

The Healthcare Commercial Project Manager at IES Electric is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and executing commercial projects within the healthcare sector. Essential Functions

• Project Planning and Management: Oversee all phases of project life cycle from initiation to closure. This includes developing project plans, managing resources, and coordinating with clients and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

• Budget and Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met. Prepare cost estimates, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-control measures as necessary.

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring all team members are aligned with project goals.

• Communication and Reporting: Maintain open lines of communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Prepare and present project reports, updates, and documentation as required.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and adhere to industry regulations and company policies.

• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact and ensure project success.

• Technical Expertise: Utilize design software and code analysis tools to guide project development and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

• Project Types: Manage a variety of commercial projects, including office buildings, retail centers, hospitals, and schools.

Required Certifications

• CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management)
• PMP (Project Management Professional)

Experience with:

• Design Software

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 Years of Electrical Experience: Demonstrated experience in handling electrical projects, preferably within a commercial setting.

• Valid Electrical License for AZ: Must hold a valid electrical license recognized by the state of Arizona.

• Experience with Design Software and Code Analysis: Proficiency in using industry-standard design tools and conducting code analysis to ensure project compliance.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment, as necessary for project demands.

• Safety Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and practices to ensure a safe working environment for all project personnel.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification: Preference given to candidates with a recognized PMP certification.

• Experience with Project Management Software: Familiarity with software such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools.

• Commercial Project Experience: Proven track record in managing commercial projects from conception to completion.

Location & Schedule

• Primary Location: Chandler, AZ
• Neighboring Cities: Tempe, Gilbert, Mesa, Phoenix, and Scottsdale.
• Schedule: Full-time position with standard business hours, with occasional requirements for extended hours based on project needs.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $37.49 - $45.04 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
