Commercial Electrician at Howell Electric
Join Howell Electric, a leading electrical contracting company based in Berkeley, CA, and serve the vibrant East Bay region, including neighboring cities such as Oakland, Emeryville, and Albany. We are seeking a skilled Commercial Construction Electrician to be part of our team. This role involves working on dynamic construction sites, collaborating with multiple trades to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems in new commercial construction projects
- Coordinate effectively with other trades on-site
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Bend and install EMT/rigid conduit
- Pull wire and perform panel terminations
- Install and maintain lighting control systems and fire alarm integration
Required Qualifications
- CA Journeyman License
- Commercial construction experience
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Proficiency in conduit bending techniques
- Knowledge of current NEC codes
- Experience with EMT/rigid conduit installation
- 3-5 years of experience required in a commercial setting
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $40.94-$50.34 per hour
