Commercial Security Technician

Helix Electric is seeking a skilled Commercial Security Technician to join our team in San Antonio, TX. As a Commercial Security Technician, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems within commercial environments. This position requires a thorough understanding of security technologies and standards, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with project teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements for Commercial Security Technician

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair security systems such as C-Cure, Lenel, and C-More in commercial buildings.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to determine security needs and solutions.
  • Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and regulations.

• Required Certifications:

  • C-Cure
  • C-More

• Experience:

  • Proficient in C-Cure and Lenel systems.
  • Familiarity with C-More systems is preferred.
  • Experience working on projects such as office buildings, retail centers, hospitals, and schools.
  • 3-5 years of electrical experience is required.

• Licenses and Physical Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid electrical license for the state of Texas.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

• Safety Knowledge:

  • Comprehensive understanding of safety protocols and procedures within commercial environments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with C-More systems.
• Prior experience in commercial project environments.

Location & Schedule

• Primary Location: San Antonio, TX
• Neighboring Cities: New Braunfels, Schertz, Seguin, and Converse, TX.
• Schedule: Full-time

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $27.42-$32.59 per hour, depending on experience.
