The Security Systems Tech role at Vision Technologies involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems primarily within healthcare facilities across San Antonio, TX, and neighboring cities. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of healthcare environments, working closely with project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Essential Functions for Security Systems Tech

• Install and configure security systems including access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of security equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet project timelines and specifications.
• Provide technical support and training to healthcare staff on security system operations.
• Document all installation and maintenance activities accurately for client records.

Required Qualifications for Security Systems Tech at Vision Technologies

• 2-5 years of experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
• Required certification: BICSI Technician.
• Proficiency in using Genetec Security Center and Axis Camera Station.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and work in various physical environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certification: Genetec Certification.
• Extensive experience with Genetec Security Center.
• Specialized experience in healthcare facility security systems.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools necessary for system installation and repair.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: San Antonio, TX.
• Additional locations: New Braunfels, Schertz, Cibolo, Universal City, and Converse.
• Schedule: Full-time, with the possibility of overtime based on project needs.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $29.21-$34.59 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
