Key Responsibilities

• Perform fiber optic splicing and testing to ensure high-quality connections.

• Troubleshoot and repair fiber optic cables and systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance for optimal performance.
• Document and report on project progress and technical issues.

Required Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in fiber optic splicing or a related field.
• ETA Fiber Optics Certification.
• OFC Specialist Certification.
• Proficiency in using Fusion Splicers, Power Meters, Visual Fault Locators, and OTDR.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced ETA Fiber Optics Certification.
• Additional OFC Specialist Certifications.
• Familiarity with San Antonio’s telecom infrastructure.
• Experience in data centers or similar environments.
