Controls Engineer at Crosby Electric

Hello there! We’re on the hunt for a savvy Safety Controls Engineer to join Crosby Electric in sunny Glendale, CA. If you’ve got a knack for machine safety systems, safety PLCs like Allen-Bradley GuardLogix or Siemens F-CPU, and risk assessment, we want to hear from you. You’ll need to have your TÜV Functional Safety Engineer certification, OSHA-30, and Certified Machinery Safety Expert (CMSE) credentials under your belt. Here, you’ll get to flex your expertise with ISO 13849/IEC 62061 standards, safety system design, and safety network protocols like CIP Safety and PROFIsafe. We also think it’s pretty cool if you’re proficient in Sistema calculations, safety circuit design, and robot safety systems. Oh, and don’t forget your suitcase, because this gig requires 40-70% travel for safety system validation and compliance assessments.

Required Experience

We’re looking for someone with:

• 10+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer.
• Expertise in machine safety systems and safety PLCs.
• Solid background in risk assessment.

Pay and Benefits

In return, we’re offering a competitive salary in the range of $60.91-$70.19 per hour, plus benefits.
