Electrical Foreman Position Overview

At Bright Move Energy in Huntington Beach, CA, we urgently need an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team for long-term projects. As an Electrical Foreman, you’ll oversee the installation and maintenance of commercial electrical systems, focusing on electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. You will lead our field operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with project designs and standards. Your role will be pivotal in mentoring apprentices, managing field teams, and collaborating with project managers and clients to drive successful project execution.

Qualifications for Electrical Foreman

• 5-7 years of experience as an Electrical Foreman
• Active journeyman electrician certification from California DIR
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities for Electrical Foreman

Lead field operations for EV charging station installations while ensuring compliance with safety standards and deadlines. Oversee the installation of commercial electrical systems and plan daily tasks for journeymen and apprentices. Perform and supervise conduit bending, wire pulling, and terminations according to NEC and California Electric Code standards. Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostics tools, provide on-site leadership and mentoring, and maintain a clean job site. Collaborate with project managers and clients to overcome field challenges and ensure seamless project execution. Maintain daily project reports and conduct regular safety meetings.
