Position Overview at Wisetel
As a Fire Alarm Tech at Wisetel, you will play a vital role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems in office building projects across San Diego, CA, and the surrounding areas. Your technical expertise and commitment to safety will contribute to the protection of people and property.
Essential Functions for Fire Alarm Tech
- Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in office buildings.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of fire alarm equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with project managers and building contractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Required Qualifications for Fire Alarm Tech at Wisetel
- 2-4 years of experience in fire alarm system installation and maintenance.
- Required certification: Edwards EST Certification.
- Proficient with Silent Knight Systems and Notifier Systems.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certification: Notifier Certification.
- Experience with Fire-Lite Systems.
- Specialized experience in large-scale office building projects.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: San Diego, CA.
- Additional locations: Chula Vista, Escondido, Carlsbad, and La Jolla.
- Schedule: Full-time.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $26.45-$33 per hour.
