Position Overview at WiLine
The Data Center Cable Tech plays a crucial role in supporting healthcare facilities projects in Fort Worth, TX, and surrounding areas. This position involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data center cabling infrastructure, ensuring reliable and efficient network operations for healthcare clients.
Essential Functions for Data Center Cable Tech
- Install and terminate copper and fiber optic cabling in data centers.
- Perform testing and validation of cable installations using Fluke Testing Equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network installations and configurations.
- Adhere to all safety and compliance standards during installations.
Required Qualifications for Data Center Cable Tech at WiLine
- 3-6 years of experience in data center cabling and infrastructure.
- Panduit Certification is required.
- Proficiency in working with CommScope Infrastructure and Fluke Testing Equipment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and climbing.
Preferred Qualifications
- BICSI Data Center Design certification is an advantage.
- Extensive experience with CommScope Infrastructure.
- Specialized experience in healthcare facility projects.
- Proficiency with cable installation tools and equipment.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Fort Worth, TX
- Additional locations: Arlington, Grapevine, North Richland Hills, and other nearby cities.
- Schedule: Full-time
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $29.3-$35.49 per hour
