Position Overview: Security Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Security Technician to join our Commercial division. This role is crucial in ensuring the security systems in our projects are installed, maintained, and function efficiently. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of impactful projects, contributing to the safety and security of our clients’ premises.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities for Commercial Projects

• Install, configure, and maintain security systems, including video surveillance, access control, and alarm systems, in commercial settings such as office buildings, retail centers, hospitals, and schools.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure all security systems operate effectively and align with client specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Keep detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Provide training and support to clients on the operation and maintenance of security systems.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Required Certifications and Experience

• Certifications in Crestron and C-Cure are required.
• Proven experience with Lenel, C-More, and Crestron systems.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of electrical experience.
• Must hold a valid electrical license for the state of Texas.
• Demonstrated experience with Lenel and C-More systems is essential.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and procedures in electrical and security system installations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Capable of standing, walking, and working on ladders for extended periods.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience with Crestron systems is highly desirable.
• Experience working on commercial projects is preferred.

Location & Schedule

Primary Location: Fort Worth, TX

Our projects extend across Fort Worth and neighboring cities including Arlington, North Richland Hills, Haltom City, and Benbrook, TX. The Security Technician will primarily be based in Fort Worth but may be required to travel to these surrounding areas as needed.

Schedule: Full-time

This position requires availability for a standard full-time schedule, with occasional overtime as project demands dictate.
