Senior Controls Technician at Vision Technologies
Vision Technologies, a leading company in manufacturing automation, is looking for a highly skilled Senior Controls Technician to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. This role requires advanced expertise in Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI programming, SCADA systems, and industrial networking protocols like EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP. The ideal candidate will have an ISA Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST) Level III, OSHA-30, Arc Flash certification, and CompTIA Network+ certification. Extensive experience with Rockwell RSLogix 5000/Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View, Wonderware InTouch, and Siemens TIA Portal is mandatory. In-depth knowledge in process control loops, VFD configuration, and troubleshooting complex automation systems is also essential. This position involves 50-75% travel for commissioning and emergency support.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role as a Senior Controls Technician
- Expertise in Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI programming, SCADA systems, and industrial networking protocols like EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP
- Extensive experience with Rockwell RSLogix 5000/Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View, Wonderware InTouch, and Siemens TIA Portal
- Strong background in process control loops, VFD configuration, and troubleshooting complex automation systems
Certifications and Licenses
- ISA Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST) Level III
- OSHA-30
- Arc Flash certification
- CompTIA Network+
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of additional industrial networking protocols
- Experience with other PLC programming platforms
- Familiarity with advanced automation systems

Salary and Benefits
- Salary Range: $58.26-$67.42 per hour
