Key Responsibilities

Design and implement fiber optic networks to enhance connectivity in the Piedmont Triad region, including Greensboro and High Point. Perform precise fusion splicing operations to ensure optimal signal integrity. Test and certify fiber installations to meet rigorous industry standards. Maintain comprehensive splice documentation for future reference and audits. Install advanced fiber distribution systems to support expanding enterprise needs. Configure DWDM systems to maximize bandwidth efficiency. Conduct OTDR testing to troubleshoot and ensure network integrity. Implement fiber management systems to streamline network operations. Coordinate pathway installations with local teams to ensure efficient project execution. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to comply with regional safety standards. Perform emergency restoration of fiber services, ensuring minimal downtime. Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Collaborate on the Triad Fiber Expansion Project, a key initiative in the Winston-Salem area. Ensure compliance with North Carolina’s specific safety and installation regulations. Required Qualifications
