Position Overview
The Retail Controls Electrician at MMR Group will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control systems specific to retail environments in Winston-Salem, NC. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and a strong understanding of retail control systems.
Essential Functions
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems in retail settings.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure project completion.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of electrical systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of electrical experience.
- Valid electrical license for North Carolina.
- Relevant certifications and training in electrical controls.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical safety protocols and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications related to Retail Controls Electrician roles.
- Experience with specialized retail control systems.
- Proficiency with tools and equipment used in the Retail Controls Electrician trade.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Winston-Salem, NC.
- Neighboring cities include Greensboro, High Point, and Kernersville.
- Schedule: Full-time with the possibility of make-up shifts as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $34.92-$43.28 per hour.
