Data Center Technician at Texas Voice & Data

Texas Voice & Data is seeking a skilled Data Center Technician in Cincinnati, OH, with responsibilities extending to nearby cities like Dayton, Covington, and Florence. This role focuses on managing critical facility infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations in power, cooling, and monitoring systems. Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain critical data center infrastructure, perform server installations and decommissions, manage cable plant documentation, implement hot/cold aisle containment, coordinate maintenance windows, perform power circuit installations, maintain battery backup systems, monitor environmental controls, execute change management procedures, manage equipment lifecycle, perform network hardware installations, maintain security protocols. Additional tasks include supporting the Cincinnati Tech Hub Expansion, complying with Ohio state data center regulations, and collaborating with regional tech partners.

Required Qualifications

BICSI Data Center Technician certification preferred, experience with critical infrastructure management, experience dressing and terminating cables, demonstrated ability with DCIM systems, strong documentation skills, experience with change management procedures, clean background check required. 3-5 years of experience required for DataCenter work in Commercial setting. Candidates should have familiarity with Cincinnati’s local tech landscape and possess a valid Ohio driver’s license.
