Controls Engineer at Reliable Electric
Hey there! We at Reliable Electric are on the hunt for a Safety Controls Engineer who knows their way around machine safety systems, safety PLCs like Allen-Bradley GuardLogix and Siemens F-CPU, and is a pro at risk assessment. This role is going to keep you on your toes and will involve 40-70% travel for validating safety systems and performing compliance assessments. You’ll be based in the beautiful city of Cincinnati, OH, with neighboring cities like Covington, Newport, and Fairfield.
Required Experience
We need you to bring your A-game, so here’s what we’re looking for:
- You’re an expert with 10+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer.
- You’ve got the TÜV Functional Safety Engineer certification, OSHA-30, and CMSE credentials under your belt.
- Your experience with ISO 13849/IEC 62061 standards, safety system design, and safety network protocols like CIP Safety and PROFIsafe is solid.
- You’re proficient in Sistema calculations, safety circuit design, and robot safety systems.
Nice to Haves
While these aren’t deal breakers, they’ll definitely give you an edge:
- Additional certifications related to safety controls engineering.
- Prior experience in the electric industry.
- Comfortable working with a team and also independently.
Compensation
