Key Responsibilities

• Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Commission automated production lines, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis on system failures to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.
• Implement predictive maintenance programs utilizing vibration analysis and thermal imaging technologies.
• Design and install complex motor control circuits tailored to the unique needs of our Cincinnati facilities.
• Manage electrical spare parts inventory to ensure availability of critical components.
• Train apprentices on industrial systems, fostering the next generation of skilled electricians.
• Coordinate with equipment manufacturers for complex repairs and technical support.
• Develop standard operating procedures for maintenance tasks to streamline operations.
• Perform power quality analysis and harmonic mitigation to enhance system performance.
• Ensure compliance with Ohio-specific electrical codes and regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced certification in Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC programming.
• Demonstrated experience with industrial networking protocols, including EtherNet/IP and Profibus.
• Expertise in VFD programming and troubleshooting, ensuring optimal motor performance.
• Proficiency with thermal imaging and vibration analysis equipment for predictive maintenance.
• Ability to read and create AutoCAD electrical drawings, essential for accurate system documentation.
• Experience with SCADA systems and HMI programming to enhance process control.
• Proven leadership skills in a maintenance environment, capable of guiding and developing a team.
• Understanding of IEEE standards for industrial power quality to ensure compliance and safety.
• Possession of a Journeyman License, OSHA-30, Arc Flash, forklift, and aerial lift certifications.
• 5+ years of experience required for Journeyman work in an industrial setting.
• Familiarity with the specific electrical infrastructure and requirements of the Cincinnati area.
• Experience in managing vendor relationships within the Ohio manufacturing sector.
