Position Overview at Teleco
The Cable Technician position at Teleco involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of cable systems in office buildings across Aurora, CO, and neighboring areas. The role requires a detail-oriented and skilled technician to ensure optimal functionality and performance of telecommunication systems. The technician will work closely with project teams to support telecommunication infrastructure projects.
Essential Functions for Cable Technician
- Install, test, and maintain cable systems in office buildings.
- Diagnose and resolve cable network issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with project teams to complete installations and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Document installation processes and maintain accurate records.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients as needed.
Required Qualifications for Cable Technician at Teleco
- 2-5 years of experience in cable installation and maintenance.
- Required certification: Fiber Optic Certification.
- Proficiency with Cable Management Systems and Wire Mapping Tools.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certification: BICSI Technician.
- Extensive experience with Cable Management Systems.
- Specialized experience in office building projects.
- Proficient use of industry-specific tools and equipment.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Aurora, CO.
- Additional locations: Centennial, Denver, Englewood, Littleton, Westminster.
- Schedule: Full-time.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $28.09-$33.81 per hour.
