This is an entry-level position with a focus on hands-on cabling, testing, and troubleshooting. You will have the opportunity to gain experience with tools, learn basic cable termination techniques, and understand networking concepts. This role involves following blueprints, documenting work, and collaborating with team members. The physical nature of the job requires lifting and handling cables and equipment. Key Responsibilities

As a Cable Installer, your main duties will include installing and routing cabling for data, voice, and video systems. You will terminate and test cables for proper functionality and assist in setting up network and communication systems. Following project blueprints and technical diagrams, maintaining inventory of cables and tools, and collaborating with other team members and trades on site will be essential parts of your role. Ensuring installations meet safety and quality standards, documenting work performed and test results, troubleshooting, and resolving basic connectivity issues will also be part of your responsibilities. You will support system upgrades and expansions as needed, assist in training new team members on installation techniques, and adhere to company and project protocols. Additionally, you will be tasked with:

• Ensuring adherence to regional regulatory requirements for cable installations in Colorado.
• Planning and preparing for upcoming cable installer projects in Aurora and surrounding cities.
• Coordinating with local service providers for cable and equipment installations.
• Conducting post-installation inspections and adjustments to ensure optimal system performance.

Required Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with cable installation techniques and ability to use hand and power tools are essential. A basic understanding of networking concepts is required, along with strong organizational and time-management skills. Attention to detail, effective communication skills, physical ability to lift and handle cabling equipment, willingness to learn and grow in the field, reliable transportation, and punctuality are also important. Additionally, the following qualifications are required:

• 1-5 years of experience in a cable installation or similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Knowledge of standard industry safety protocols and regulations.
