Position Overview

Telco Data, located in Cambridge, MA, is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Tech to support our broad client base, which includes Fortune 500 companies, emerging tech startups, and major financial institutions. This professional should have a strong command of industry regulations, standards, and contemporary technology tools. Extensive travel within a 100-mile radius is part of this role to ensure site-specific fire and safety solutions for our diverse clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems and associated equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems.
• Interact with clients to analyze their specific needs and propose customized solutions.
• Handle emergency service calls as required.
• Work collaboratively across project teams.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 – 7 years of experience in the fire alarm industry.
• NICET Level III and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Certifications.
• Proficient in the use of fire alarm panels, emergency communication, smoke detection, and mass notification systems.
• Ability to travel up to a 100-mile radius.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications like OSHA 30 are a plus.
• Experience working in corporate settings, specifically Fortune 500 companies, tech startups, or financial institutions.
• Strong customer-service orientation, with excellent communication skills.
• High standard of integrity and professionalism.
