AV Tech at Telco Data

Position Overview

Telco Data is actively seeking an experienced AV Tech for a full-time, second shift position based in Cambridge, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Audio-Visual technology, a good understanding of control systems, and a passion for excellence. Working closely with a small, specialized team, the AV Tech will provide high-level tech support to various educational institutions, from universities to K-12 schools and training centers, within a 30-mile radius.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of AV equipment including Control Systems, Video Walls, Digital Signal Processors, and Sound Reinforcement.
• Designing and implementing AV solutions as per the client’s requirements.
• Regularly updating documentation on AV equipment and processes.
• Providing user training and support to clients, when necessary.
• Working collaboratively within a specialized team environment to achieve common goals.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant AV technology experience.
• Certified in Crestron and Biamp products.
• Familiarity with various AV equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
• Willingness to work in second shift schedule (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM).
• Ability to travel within 30 miles of home base.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in an educational environment.
• Experience with other AV equipment brands and platforms.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
