Telco Data is seeking to fill the position of Cable Tech Team Lead in Hollywood, FL. This is a vital role within a specialized team of 3-5 professionals, focusing on delivering top-notch service to educational environments. The mandate of this role includes frequent travel within a 100-mile radius, during standard business hours. The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of experience and a rich background in managing cable systems within educational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and coordinate cable installation projects in diverse educational environments
• Conduct proper analysis and troubleshooting using tools like Network Analysers and OTDR Testing
• Provide the highest quality of service in cable certification and system maintenance
• Take charge of efficient resource management, project planning, and deadline adherence
• Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure effective delivery of services
• Ensure compliance with company and industry standards and protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in a similar role
• Must possess Network+ and RCDD certifications
• Proficiency in tools and technology such as Fluke Networks, OTDR Testing, Cable Certification, Network Analysis
• Excellent client service skills with an ability to handle pressure in diverse environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco CCNA and BICSI Technician certifications are a plus
• Prior experience in an educational work environment would be an advantage
• Proven leadership skills with a record of managing small teams
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, strategic planning abilities, and communication skills
