Residential Solar Installer at Tech Electronics
Tech Electronics, located in Tampa, FL, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Residential Solar Installer to join our dynamic team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a rapidly growing industry within the Tampa area, including neighboring cities such as St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Brandon. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install residential solar systems
- Mount solar panels effectively and securely
- Install racking systems with precision
- Run conduit and pull wire as needed
- Assist with system commissioning
Required Qualifications
- Experience with roof work and power tools
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Comfortable working at heights
- NABCEP Associate certification preferred
- OSHA-10 and fall protection certification required
- Valid driver’s license
- 1-4 years of experience required for Apprentice work in a Solar setting
- Knowledge of NEC Article 690 and basic electrical theory
- Understanding of safety protocols
Compensation & Benefits
