Overview of Multi-Family Junior Project Manager Role

As a Multi-Family Junior Project Manager at Rogers Electric, you will play a critical role in supporting and managing residential electrical projects. This role is designed for an aspiring project manager who is eager to develop their skills and grow within a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work closely with senior project managers, electricians, and clients to ensure that all project objectives are met on time and within budget.

Essential Functions

• Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of residential electrical projects, including custom homes, multi-family developments, and remodels.
• Code Analysis: Conduct thorough code analysis to ensure compliance with all local and national regulations.
• Project Management Software: Utilize project management software to track project progress, manage schedules, and maintain detailed project documentation.
• Estimating Tools: Assist in the preparation of project estimates and budgets using industry-standard estimating tools.
• Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication between project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and subcontractors.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor project quality and ensure that all work meets Rogers Electric’s high standards.
• Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Required Qualifications

• Electrical Experience: 0-2 years of experience in the electrical field, with a focus on residential projects.
• Licensure: Must hold a valid electrical license for the state of Florida.
• Code Analysis: Proficient in conducting code analysis to ensure project compliance.
• Project Management Software: Experience using project management software for tracking and managing projects.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks associated with electrical work, such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety practices and protocols in the electrical industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification: Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
• Estimating Tools: Experience with estimating tools and methodologies used in residential construction.
• Residential Project Experience: Prior experience working on residential electrical projects, including custom homes, multi-family developments, and remodels.

Location & Schedule

• Primary Location: Tampa, FL
• Neighboring Cities: St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Brandon, Riverview, and Largo.
• Schedule: Full-time position with standard working hours and occasional overtime as project demands necessitate.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $23.87 to $32.03 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
