Residential Electrician at Tech Electronics

Tech Electronics is currently seeking a Residential Apprentice Electrician to join our team in Tucson, Arizona. This position requires a fundamental understanding of basic electrical theory, combined with hands-on experience in residential wiring methods. The successful candidate will be proficient in load calculations and panel installations and well-versed in the use of hand tools, power tools, digital multimeters, and basic test equipment. This position necessitates the possession of a valid Electrical Apprentice License/Trainee Card, OSHA-10, First Aid/CPR certification, and valid driver’s license. Experience in residential rough-in, service upgrades, fixture/device installation, and basic troubleshooting is preferred. To be eligible for this role, applicants must be enrolled in or eligible for a state-approved apprenticeship program.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1-5 years of experience as a Residential Electrician
• Knowledge of basic electrical theory
• Proficiency in residential wiring methods (NM cable/Romex)
• Experience in load calculations and panel installations
• Hands-on experience with hand tools (Klein, Knipex), power tools (Milwaukee, DeWalt), digital multimeters (Fluke), and basic test equipment
• Possession of a valid Electrical Apprentice License/Trainee Card
• OSHA-10 certification
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Experience

• Experience with residential rough-in
• Experience with service upgrades
• Proficiency in fixture/device installation
• Basic troubleshooting skills
• Enrolled in or eligible for a state-approved apprenticeship program

Salary and Benefits
