Job Description:

Prime Partners is seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician for our operations in Tucson, AZ, and surrounding cities. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, modifying, and repairing electrical equipment and systems to ensure that they function safely and efficiently. This role is integral to our commitment to providing our clients with professional, top-quality electrical services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspect, install, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment.
2. Remain in compliance with current National Electric Code.
3. Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systems.
4. Install safety and distribution components.
5. Conduct preventative maintenance routine inspections and tests.
6. Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.
7. Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems.
8. Coordinate with project manager and team members to identify and ensure that materials, supplies, tools, and equipment are available as needed.
9. Connect electrical power to commercial and industrial equipment.
10. Ensure that all work complies with relevant codes.
11. Provide exceptional customer service by educating customers on work performed and ensuring satisfaction.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program required.
3. Valid state Journeyman Electrician License.
4. Proven experience as an electrician.
5. Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints, and maintenance and repair knowledge.
6. Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment.
7. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
8. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
9. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
10. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
11. Ability to work in various weather and environmental conditions.
12. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
13. Must pass a background check and drug test.
